Extremely sorry for not being able to upload a proper short story this month. But here is something for you all. These are my answers to two different story related questions on "Quora". Hope you enjoy it.

Ques 1. Tell me some 3-4 line stories with a twist.

She shot him once, he smiled. She shot him twice, he smiled. She shot him again and again, he smiled. Finally she declared, "Enough. Now your turn to shoot me." and handed him the camera.

He wasn't acting like a good father at all. Saumya was so heavily crying on the betrayal she got but he did not hug her to console her. Even when she had come with the trophy he didn't kiss her on the forehead. If only he could come out of his grave.

It was one of the hardest decisions of his life. Eventually, he left all thoughts and jumped off the cliff. He felt every single breath fading away until the bungee cord slightly pulled him up. That was the end of his fall and his acrophobia.

She looked beautiful in her crimson red marriage veil. Everyone was in tears while she was parting. She did not utter a word, not even after her husband lit her pyre. She had died of loneliness but she had died suhagan.

"Why the hell did you kill your wife?" the detective shouted.

Raghu yawned and looked at the watch...11.30pm. He switched off the TV and went straight into bedroom. He was sleepy and the movie was boring.

She was lying on the bed unconscious. He silently wore his gloves, took the knife and approached her. He was very sure that he had no other choice. A cesarean was inevitable for his patient's and her child's well being.

She was worriedly spitting blood in the wash basin. Tears were rolling down her eyes.

"Mom! Help. Am I going to die?"

Mom laughingly said, "It's just another tooth-fall my child."

"Did I forget something again?" Sahil fearfully yet mischievously asked.

She stoically nodded in a yes.

"What? Birthday? Anniversary? Gift? Shopping?"

"To clear your chat history." she bluntly replied.

The gun was loaded. Her throat dried as she kept her finger on the trigger. Sweat dropped off from her temple as she pulled the trigger. The bullet hit right into the eye.... the bull's eye.

On her teacher's inappropriate gesture she responded swiftly and brought him down on the floor with her punch just at an inch from his face. She then helped him stand up. He patted her affectionately. He was happy that she passed her final self-defence test and that his free self-defence classes would get another expert volunteer.

Ques 2. How deep can you go with just 10 words?


She applied a heavy makeup, to hide the slap marks.

His message arrived. Now RIP, the battery.

When I suffered from insomnia, Mom didn't sleep for nights.

As she hugged Mom for her new smartphone, Dad smiled.

She sprinted as he followed her. “Your purse.” He shouted.

To his message request, she replied with a friend request.

A son is never ugly, a husband never perfect.

“Vanilla flavour… ewww” he threw it

“Eatable” ragpicker was delighted.
***

Dripping blood, fatal pain she bore happily. She was pregnant.
***

When he blocked her, she cried but blocked him back.
